As I gathered crisp sheets of paper and crafted something with my fingertips, my trials were momentarily forgotten. The beginning of LUMISCA stems from that very 'experience of healing.

During my art college entrance exams in 1989, I realized a truth while analyzing the facets of plaster figure drawing: "The darkest side is actually adjacent to the brightest line (White Line).
This discovery—that the boundary between light and shadow is inviolable and determines the vitality of an object—became the root of LUMISCA's philosophy. To this day, I continue to sculpt the aesthetics of that boundary.
